Particularities of the verb forms
- ‘to have’ can be an auxiliary verb and lexical (main) verb.
- When ‘to have’ appears as the main verb, it also requires ‘to have’ as an auxiliary verb in the perfect tenses (example: “I have had”).

- Information: Negations are formed with ‘don’t/doesn’t’ and the verb in the infinitive (here ‘have’).

Infinitives and imperatives of ‘to have’
The imperative expresses commands and exists only in the 2nd person singular and plural, with its forms agreeing:
